Studied via blended learning, our Level 3 Sports Massage Qualification is designed and delivered by experienced Sports Massage Practitioners. You’ll study via our e-learning platform and apply your learning at practical group workshops, providing hours of practice on the therapy table to ensure that you are fully prepared for your new career.

Who can do this course?

There are no formal entry requirements, but learners must be aged 16+ to enrol.

You must have a reasonable level of English to ensure you can fully understand the content and communicate effectively with clients.

How you will learn

The course is spread over 8 days, consisting of 4 days of theoretical learning (available online or in person) and 4 days of practical workshops held at the college.

• Professional Standards in Sports Massage – Understanding the ethical and professional practices required in the field.
• Business Setup and Promotion – How to establish and market your own sports massage business.
• Anatomy and Physiology – A strong foundation in understanding the human body and its functions.
• Fundamentals of Health and Fitness – Knowledge of health and fitness principles that support massage therapy.
• Identifying Soft Tissue Dysfunction – How to assess and understand dysfunction in soft tissues.
• Relaxation and Stress Management Techniques – Learning breathing and relaxation techniques to help manage stress.
• Therapist Self-care and Proper Posture – Importance of self-care, maintaining correct posture, and minimizing strain during work.
• Effective Listening and Awareness – Developing strong listening skills and being aware of clients’ needs.

What You’ll Qualify With:
