How You Will Be Assessed

There will be a 1 multiple choice exam and practical assessment.

Practical Assessment: 

Participants are assessed on their ability to apply first aid skills in practical scenarios. Trained instructors observe participants as they demonstrate techniques like CPR, the use of AEDs, management of bleeding or shock, and other relevant first aid procedures. They provide feedback, and guidance, and evaluate participants' competency in applying correct procedures effectively.

The aim of these assessments is to ensure that participants are capable of responding appropriately and confidently during real-life emergency situations.

On successful completion of the course, you will receive:

On successful completion of the course, you will receive a Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate. The certificate is valid for three years and must be renewed if you wish to continue to act as a first aider in the workplace.
