Trainee Support Care Workers

  • Hours: Flexible, 16–40 hours per week
  • Experience: No previous qualifications required – full training provided
  • Salary: £13-£16 per hour

Daily Roles and Responsibilities – Trainee Support Care Workers

As a trainee care worker, you will help individuals live more independently and with dignity by:

  • Assisting with personal care, hygiene, and dressing
  • Helping with meal preparation and medication reminders
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Supporting mobility and light household tasks
  • Working alongside families and healthcare professionals


Non-Negotiables – Trainee Support Care Workers

All care staff are expected to meet the following standards:

  • Punctuality: Being on time for all scheduled visits
  • Compassion: Treating every client with dignity and respect
  • Reliability: Being dependable and trustworthy
  • Communication: Reporting effectively to supervisors and families
  • Professionalism: Maintaining client confidentiality and boundaries
