Mental Health & Wellbeing

The well-being of our learners and staff is of paramount importance to us. JFC Training College recognises that everyone may need support from time to time with their mental health and well-being.

We have a range of services for learners experiencing mental health difficulties and some support is also available outside of the college day.

If you are struggling with your mental health and would like to speak to someone, please email wellbeing@jfctrainingcollege.co.uk and we will be in touch.

The support we offer includes:

  • Exploring reasonable adjustments
  • Regular support throughout a learner’s college journey
  • Liaising and consulting with relevant college staff/external agencies
  • Information and access to local mental health services
  • Developing strategies to manage the demands of college life
  • Sessions with a college pastoral counsellor
  • Referral to external counselling services.

If you need support outside of college hours you can access support from Togetherall.

The purpose of Togetherall is to help foster positive mental health and offer a safe, stigma free environment where people can work through what they are experiencing, using the peer support offered by the community. The community is moderated by mental health professionals.
