How You Will Be Assessed

You’ll be assessed through a mix of theory and practical evidence to demonstrate both knowledge and competence in internal quality assurance:

Written assignments – Show your understanding of the principles, legislation, and responsibilities of IQA.
Practical evidence – You’ll need to internally quality assure the assessment decisions of at least two different assessors, each working with at least two different learners. This will include:
Planning and recording quality assurance activities
Sampling assessment decisions and learner work
Providing feedback to assessors
Completing monitoring reports and maintaining accurate records
Portfolio of evidence – A structured collection of your written work, observation records, reports, and supporting documents demonstrating your ability to apply IQA processes effectively in practice.
